Amanda Crawley, a Kansas City native, received her bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University majoring in studio art and minoring in art history. She has a master's degree in historic preservation from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. After returning to Kansas City in 2008, she worked for several years in preservation consulting and from 2011 - 2016 was executive director of the Historic Kansas City Foundation. She is currently a board member of the Wornall Majors House Museums. She has extensive experience in building research and is thrilled to be using her skills as a house historian to work directly with Kansas City area residents and homeowners from across the United States.
